The generator unit is a set comprising an engine and generator in a common steel frame. Most are used as emergency sources of energy in the event of an outage in the main electrical source in places with an uninterrupted need. Generator units can be equipped with automatic operating control, an automatic system of phasing to the distribution grid, anti-noise canopy, automatic start and shut-down, installation on undercarriage, and similar.
